On Saturday, 9 July 2022, KOPCIMB made a visit to the humble home of the late Robert A/L Anthony, an ex-staff of Kg Baru branch, in Sungai Petani, Kedah Darul Aman. He left behind a widow, Madam Santhi A/P Kamalanathan, 3 children out of which 2 are already working and 1 who had just completed her tertiary education. An untimely death at the age of 54 due to heart attack was a rude shock to the family, a loss of its bread winner.

This visit was aimed to present a mock cheque of RM 70,000 being the life insurance undertaken by KOPCIMB to its Members. In times like this, this amount comes in handy to meet the family’s domestic needs and settlement of outstanding financing of the decease.
